Mesa, AZ – Have your kids been going stir crazy staying inside from the heat? Fall Youth Sports are back and it is time to sign up! Check out all our fun and affordable programs. Fee assistance and scholarships are available.  Registration for fall youth sports in Mesa Arizona is now open for sign ups! Come on down.

 

The following youth programs will be offered this fall:

 

Lacrosse: Co-ed, Grades 1-6

Youth Sports is providing all equipment, including pads, helmets and sticks. The clinics are at Quail Run Soccer Complex

  • Beginner Level Clinics: (New to lacrosse or need a refresher)

-Thursdays from 4:30 p.m.-6 p.m.

-Cost is $45 Mesa residents, $54 for non-residents

  • Intermediate Level Clinics: (Experienced)

-Thursdays from 6:15 p.m.-8:15 p.m.

-Cost is $50 Mesa residents, $60 for non-residents

Session 1 is from Sept 11-Oct 25 with a registration deadline on Wed., Sept. 3 at noon. Session 2 is from Oct 30-Dec 11 with a registration deadline on Wed., Oct 22 at noon.

 

Flag Football: Co-ed, Grades K-6

Practice and games are held weekly. Volunteer coaches needed.

  • Kindergarten Flag Football Clinic

Oct. 18-Nov. 22, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

– Quail Run Soccer Complex

– $40 for residents, $48 for non-residents.

– Registration deadline is Oct. 13 at noon.

  • Flag Football League for grades 1-6

Oct. 18-Dec. 13, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

– Tournament on Sat., Dec. 13

– Quail Run Soccer Complex.

– $60 for residents, $72 for non-residents.

– Registration deadline is Sept. 15 at noon.

Soccer: Co-ed, K-6

Practice and games are held weekly. Volunteer coaches needed.

Registration deadline Mon., Sept. 15 at noon.

  • Kindergarten and 3-4 grade: Tuesdays, Oct 14- Dec 2
  • Grades 1-2, 5-6: Thursdays, Oct 16- Dec 4
  • Games are held between 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Tournament for grades 1-6: Saturday, Dec 6
  • Kindergarten, $50 for residents, $60 for non-residents
  • Hohokam Fields
  • Grades 1-6, $60 for residents, $72 for non-residents

 

Cross Training: Co-ed, Grades 3-6

Sports performance training to enhance endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Registration deadline is Wed., Sept 17 at noon.

  • Wednesdays, Sept 24- Nov 5
  • Grades 1-3 at 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Grades 4-6 at 6:15 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
  • Greenfield Park
  • $40 Mesa residents, $48 for non-residents

 

Girls on the Run and Run Club for Girls: Girls, Grades 1-6

Youth Sports and Adaptive Sports are proud to partner with Girls on the Run to provide this inclusive program. The 10-week “Girls on the Run” program meets twice a week and culminate with a 5K event on November 22.

 

  • Grades 1-3: Dobson High School Track

– Tuesdays, Sept.16-Nov.18

  • Grades 1-3: Quail Run Complex

– Mondays, Sept. 15-Nov.21

  • Grades 4-6: Dobson High School Track

– Tuesdays and Thursdays, Sept.16-Nov. 20

  • Grades 4-6: Quail Run Complex

– Mondays and Wednesdays, Sept.15-Nov.19

  • Registration Fees

-Grades 1-3: $40 for Mesa resident, $48 for non-resident

-Grades 4-8: $5 to City of Mesa, $180 to Girls on the Run; must register with both the City of Mesa and with GOTR. Fee assistance is available.

-Registration Deadline is September 15 at noon.
