Whats up in Mesa Arizona??  Do you need something to do?  Are you bored?  Well I have some news you can use in Mesa Arizona.  Here are some things to do around town.

Do you want to be involved in city design?  City Center Design Concepts Meeting – Design concepts for a City Center, or urban plaza, in downtown Mesa will be presented to the public at a reveal event Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the Nesbit/Elliott Playhouse of the Mesa Arts Center, 1 E. Main St. There will be receptions at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. which will allow the public to interact with the design teams. Can you paint? then the City of Mesa needs YOU!  9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance – Approximately 40 volunteers are needed to paint the house of a veteran on the City of Mesa’s 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance Thursday, Sept. 11 from 7 a.m. to noon. The event is part of Love Your Block, a high-impact service strategy in which the Mayor’s Office engages community members in revitalizing their neighborhoods one block at a time. I LOVE the Circus!!!  Ten In One: A Cirque-ish Event – Mesa Arts Center’s (MAC) free season kickoff festival will celebrate the enchanting art of circus, on Friday, Sept. 12, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. MAC’s campus will be filled with circus-inspired vignettes, including aerial hoop and tight wire performances, contortionists, jugglers and fire eaters. Features include five new exhibitions in the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum, entertainment across campus, delicious fair foods, art studio demonstrations, and hands-on experiences. Do you have a heart for the homeless?   Mesa Hydration Donation Campaign – The Mesa Hydration Donation Campaign continues through Sept. 12 to provide supplies of water to the homeless and unsheltered during the hot summer months. This year’s goal is to collect 375,000 bottles of water.
