Free Mesa Concert Featuring Georgia Chrome
Celebrate Mesa, a free Mesa Concert and party in the park will be held on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Red Mountain Soccer Complex, 905 N. Sun Valley Blvd.
New this year, country rock band Georgia Chrome will be performing live from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Along with the free carnival games, rides and entertainment, a special superheroes training camp will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the main stage.
Families are encouraged to dress up, grab a special treat from the Parks & Recreation booth, go trick-o-treating at all the City department booths and check out the Police and Fire vehicles and the “haunted bus.” Free raffle prizes and give-a-ways will also be available plus, a free movie showing of Monster University at 8 p.m.
Admission and parking is free and children can also have unlimited access to signature rides such as the 40-foot slide, Pirate Ship, and Ferris Wheel for only $5.
