Superstition Springs is located just east of downtown Mesa Arizona along Highway 60 or superstition Freeway. It’s primarily a business area north of the freeway but south of the freeway are smaller neighborhoods in residential communities. It’s also home to the Superstition Springs Golf Club located on the western side of the community. The Desert Sands Golf Courses located on the east side of the community just south of the freeway.

Superstition Springs is extremely popular with folks moving into the Mesa and Gilbert area due to its close proximity to recreation, shops, restaurants, shopping centers, markets, and more. Just about everything you want is located right around the freeway and most homes in residential neighborhoods are no more than five minutes to the nearest grocery store or Cheesecake Factory.

Superstition Springs Center

Superstition Springs Center offers shopping, fantastic restaurants, family-friendly amenities, carousels, and over 150 stores including Macy’s, Dillards, T.J. Maxx, ultra beauty, and much more. This is a popular location for weeknight dinners, hanging with friends, or catching a movie.

Golf Courses

There are two golf courses in the community of Superstition Springs: the Superstition Springs Golf Club and the Desert Sands Golf Course. Both have restaurants located on-site but Superstition Springs is the larger of the two. This superb a championship golf course offers upscale amenities, guest services, and has been recognized as one of the best daily fee golf course properties in Arizona. This picturesque venue is perfect for golfing on the weekend, setting up a venue for weddings, reunions, or parties, competing in turn events, and scheduling corporate meetings. There are several distinct memberships including some with unlimited range balls, weekly golf clinics, cart fees, discounts, and more.

The Desert Sands Golf Course has been around since 1968 and features 18 holes with a newly remodeled driving range and practice area over 79 acres. This course is a challenging par 65 with over 4000 yards of Fairways.

Real estate

Again, most real estate and residential homes are located south of the freeway, south of Desert Sands and East of Superstition Springs Course. Homes range from $250,000 up to $900,000 depending on size, location, amenities, and condition.

There are a variety of styles as well from ranch-style properties, Adobe style, two-story wood-framed properties, and elaborate estates. There are a couple of micro-neighborhoods within Superstition Springs including Riverstone and Superstition Springs Village. Nearly all homes in Superstition Springs require monthly homeowners dues but they can be as low as $20 a month or as high as $250 a month depending on where you choose to buy.

All homes are just a couple of minutes to community playgrounds, sports courts, lakes, and the freeway and the famous Monterey Park, located in the southwestern quadrant of the community sits right behind Superstition Springs Elementary School, and offers shaded picnic remodels with picnic tables, sports courts, playgrounds, barbecues, sports fields, or shoes, and over 20 acres of walking trails.

Schools

Residents of this community are assigned to the Superstition Springs Elementary school, the Highland junior high school, and the Highland High school. Both are located in the Gilbert unified school district.
